Thika Road Mall remains steadfast in our commitment to provide our shoppers and tenants with the highest quality service.
We assure you that in these uncertain times, and as we are closely monitoring the situation, the health and comfort of our staff, tenants and shoppers continues to be a priority to us.
It is paramount for everyone to adhere to government directives and precautionary measures as guided by the World Health Organisation(WHO), the Kenyan government and the Ministry of Health. Please prioritise your well-being by practicisisng social distancing, frequently washing your hands with soap & water, using alcohol based sanitizers, monitoring your health, seeking medical advise where necessary, and staying home.
We want you to have confidence in shopping and enjoying leisure time at our mall. As such, our offices will remain open for the time being with the following business continuity arrangements in place:
- Through the workplace guidelines put in place by the World Health Organization (WHO), hygiene posters are placed at strategic points to educate the public and answer any questions you may have.
- Our staff has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting all common areas and frequently touched surfaces around the mall. A supply of disinfectant has been secured to assist in sanitizing all surfaces, washrooms and common areas.
- We have sanitizing liquid available at entry points and common areas in the mall for your use. Our washroom facilities are well equipped with soap and water.
- Retention of only essential staff at our offices. Majority of our employees will be working from home. Our teams will continue to provide the required services at our offices.
- No physical meetings, whether internal or with clients. If you require a meeting with any of our staff members, contact them by mobile phone or email.
- Cancellation of company events.
- Ensure our offices are regularly disinfected and properly sanitized.
- Our service providers, suppliers and partners will ensure continuous service provision.
We have set up an internal emergency response team to take care of any arising cases with the support of our 2 major clinics – Mater Misericordiae Hospital & Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital on the 2nd floor of the mall.
We encourage everyone to stay calm and adhere to guidelines provided by the authorities.
